San Cristóbal – Galápagos
I see you on the other side.
Is it really you? What are you doing?
Are you tasting yourself with my water?
Taste yourself with our water!
Waters that make leafs dance under the stars.
I see me in your reflection.
You show me your face and your eyes look at me.
My nose feels you, your mouth tastes me.
Your smell carries me, it takes me to where I grew up.
It takes me to a higher love, a love that never says NO.
A remembered love that lives forever.
Not in pictures, neither in memories.
A kind of love that tells you: “Watch out for where you walk because the floor that carries you, is the soil that feeds you,
that pays your debts and that hugs you when you decide to leave and change bodies. That body that was once mine.”
